Since it's my first trip abroad, i figured might as well document it so i'm giving this blogging thing a try.

All my bags are packed, i'm ready to go...it is the night before the big trip. As some of you know, I'll be making my first trip back to the mother land, Vietnam, after 27 years. I'll be going back by myself, haha yeah right. I'm going with my parents. I'm very excited and yet nervous at the same time. The nervous part is getting mud butt like Charlotte from the movie Sex and the City. There was a scene where she was taking a shower and accidentally drank the water while vacationing with the girls in Mexico. Oh wait, did i just spill the beans about me watching Sex in the City? Uhhh...think, think...Sammi made me! :)
Anyway to combatant the potential of getting mud butt, i got some mudd butt medicine from the doc. :)
Back to the trip, I'm leaving tomorrow, 12/1 and fly to Tokyo and from Tokyo to Saigon (present day Ho Chi Ming City). If the weather is nice, We might stay there a few days and then head to Tuy Hoa (this is where my families are from). We will then head to Nha Trang for a few days, well known for its pristine beaches, I guess i'll be the judge of that :). That is our current agenda for now but i'm pretty sure we will go to Hue and north Vietnam.
I guess site seeing is pretty cool and all but as most of you know, i love asian food (i like it a lot) so i can't wait to get some. Mmmm...i'm drooling just thinking about it.
I'm all set, hopefully i'll be able to sleep tonight. Anyway, I'll try my best to post daily.

Oh sh$t!!! As I was writing up this blog, my awesome wife walked it and handed me a Sony NEX 5N!! Very cool camera, can't wait to use it.
